Loop Barcelona 2014

Barcelona consolidates itself as an international reference platform in the moving image sector hosting LOOP Fair (June 05-07) and Festival (May 29-June 07) on its twelfth edition. The proposition is to put videoart under review and provide the forum for professionals to explore the medium. LOOP Barcelona brings together the content, the space, the agents and the audience for rigorous debate. This year’s main focus is to examine the channels of distribution and the effect those have on how the audiences consume, exploit, and utilize video as a cultural product. To that end LOOP Barcelona is programming not only exhibitions and screenings, but also interventions and debates on the issue.
